I assume that if i put into gear then i would get the same drivetrain malfunction error. The diagnostic function monitors the camshaft timing adjustment potential replacing the vanos solenoid didnt fix the problem. But it would only do it when i would hit redline.
They actually replaced my drivetrain back in july.
